The Seam

The Seam is the world inside a magical robe that belongs to a wizard. The robe allows the wizard to pull items of minor value from it’s pockets at will.

These items are produced and delivered to the pockets by the residents of the Seam.

The Black

The Seam is almost entirely pitch black. “The Black” as it’s colloquially known extends in all directions, broken only by floating outpost settlements, and The Chalks that connect them.

The Chalks

The Chalks are floating rows of magical lights that connect outposts together providing a navigation reference for air-ships travelling between outposts.

The Firmament

At the bottom of the Seam, far below the Chalks and the Outposts is an unstable web of magical energies known as the Firmament. This incredibly dangerous and unpredictable weave is the final resting place of ships that lose power, or are knocked out of the Black above.
