The party were travelling towards Jacquard after being hired by the Hallowdawn guild. They are on a potentially a suicidal mission to handle some pirates.

On the Ship

Victory cast thaumaturgy to make the ship sparkle, and the name of the boat was changed to “The Golden Voyager”, all in an attempt to attract as much attention as possible.

Dreams for Caely

No longer in the Seam. Instead you find yourself in a beautiful wild garden. Twilight covers the whole garden and strange and wonderful flowers litter the ground. Grass shimmers with different colours. Where you step through the garden you find that the grass bends out of your way before you can touch it, and your footprints leave a little trail through the garden.

Titania the Summer Queen is there languidly lounging on a bench formed by a willow tree.

Hello Caely. Enjoying life in the Seam?

I have a little job for you. There is a man in the Seam. A half-orc named Ugosk. He lives in Gathernotch, a metallurgy hub. I have a gift I need you to deliver to him.

Titania hands Caely a red rose. The leaves are blood red and the stem is bright silver and twisted into a bow, such that it can be held in one hand. It’s thorns seem not to hurt Caely at all.

Caely asks why she has to do this.

Well because I told you to darling. But since you’re so curious, Ugosk was also brought here by his own request, just like you. But he has since become somewhat childish and has been ignoring me. He just needs a little reminder to whom he owes his success.

Pirate Encounter

The pirates attacked on the evening of the second day of travel. A huge ship with four balloons and four engines descended from the black above The Circumstances. They deployed two War Sloops with ballistae to attack The Circumstances.

Through clever piloting and deception the party managed to hijack one of the Sloops and destroy the other. However, they could not escape from the large mother ship. The party decided to approach and dock with the ship. Flint, unfortunately had already taken the Sloop to dock on the other side and was captured by pirates.

At the side of the large ship, a tall handsome woman with long auburn hair met Caely at the end of the gangplank.
