Storm

A day into their journey, Caely spotted a disturbance in the distance. A mana storm.

Caely managed to sail fast enough to catch the edge of the storm and avoid the worst. Despite this, The Situation was badly damaged as it skid too close to a fiery tear in the fabric and parts of the hold caught fire. Biri was almost thrown overboard as the ship turned over itself. However, after some difficult navigation and skilled helmsmanship, the party managed to escape the storm and emerge on the other side unharmed.

Passing the Time

The party spent the rest of the trip training and making repairs.

• Victory started learning how to pick locks under Claudia’s tutelage (25/100)
• Biri learned how to rig the sails and started to repair the small ship
• Biri also started training towards a Stealth proficiency (23/200)
• Caely continued learning lock-picking (65/100)

Arrival

After three days, the outer balloon started to lose it’s integrity. By the time the ship was pulling into Wyroads it was leaking Feekas gas pretty heavily. Gas masked engineers pulled up to the docks and started draining the gas.

The party spent 600G worth of bronze to get a new standard lifting gas balloon. They also attached the inner balloon to the smaller ship and set it up to be towed behind The Situation.

After some brief investigation, the party discover that The Circumstances had already left for Velour, having only been in town for three hours. The party were two days behind it.
