History

Khro Ithrun is an ancient dwarven clan formed outside of the Seam.

After the end of the Third Great War, and the formation of the Khro Ardol, the Khro Ithrun clan officially became extinct in the Seam, although extant living members were still allowed to identify as being of the clan, but were also of the Khro Ardol.

There were some splinter groups who refused to align with the Khro Ardol however they were completely wiped out at the conclusion of The Khro Ardol Civil War.

Culture

The Khro Ithrun (Iron Sword) were a fearsome clan of warriors. They trained their children in martial skill from a young age, as well as in the skills of stewardship and cunning, as armies require all three to succeed.

Politics

The leader of the Khro Ithrun was formally decided through combat with the existing leader. However, while some duels were done for direct control of the clan, often leaders would abdicate by yielding to their chosen successor. Similarly, if the current ruler was executing their office poorly, a more martially proficient dwarf might oust them, before yielding to a more talented leader.

Iconography

The symbol of the Khro Ithrun officially was a sword. However, most Khro Ithrun did not wear the symbol as a necklace, instead carrying a sword as both a status symbol and form of defence.
