History

Kirkja Karaad is an ancient dwarven clan formed outside of the Seam.

After the end of the Third Great War, and the formation of the Khro Ardol, the Kirkja Karaad clan officially became extinct in the Seam, although extant living members were still allowed to identify as being of the clan, but were also of the Khro Ardol.

There were some splinter groups who refused to align with the Khro Ardol however they were completely wiped out at the conclusion of The Khro Ardol Civil War.

Culture

Kirkja Karaad (Holy Fire) was a deeply religious clan. They believed it was their divine right to expand and grow a dwarven empire and please Hanseath and Haela, the dwarven gods of War and Battle. (See the full pantheon).

Politics

The Kirkja Karaad were ruled by a Pontiff, who would be elected for life by a group of cardinals. The role often ended up being hereditary, with cardinals often being chosen from members of the Pontiff’s family.
