Agreement to retrieve a Shipping Manifest & The Gem

The party agreed to retrieve a gem from from the Jacquard Trading Company, or at least retrieve the manifest details from one of the warehouses. In return the pirates would swear to leave.

To assist them, Darkshadow sent Biri of Bahamut along with them. She had been kidnapped by the pirates a few days earlier to help them retrieve the gem.

Darkshadow also sent a long a band of pirates, led by first mate Jean-Luc Hawkins

Victory knows a Guy

Arriving in Jacquard, Victory reached out to an old connection, Obis ‘Earthworm’ Earthshire. They wanted to figure out what this gem might be. Obis told them the story about The Planar Gems, but they’re supposedly a myth.

Dealing with the Pirates

The party decided to try and get rid of the pirates. They hired Brendan the mercenary for a fight tomorrow night (4 silver) and potentially more fights after that. His day rate was 2G, or a percentage of the loot from an adventure.

They then spent the night at pub called The Loom Roll (the M is at a jaunty angle from the number of times people have attempted to knock it off).

Jail

Flint and Jarvis were arrested and put in the Jacquard Trading Company guild jail. Jarvis fired an arrow at a guard. Both of them robbed a clock shop.

They overheard the movements in the guild admin office. Seemed like most people left around 10pm and start to come in at 5am for work. In the night the office is patrolled by guards. They heard all of this as footsteps. During the day, it would appear there are no guards, only office workers.
