Back to the Farm

The party left the boat with tells in place and headed back to the Bevis Farmstead again.

They searched the farm looking for a letter or connection to The Red Hand, but they came up empty.

Jopos’ Apothecary

At Jopos’ Apothecary the party checked some of the potions and found that they were all far more dilute than they should have been. Below, the shop in the basement, they found a letter with a red hand mark in the basement.

“We know. Northern Fields. Midnight”

Also in the basement, the party found an alchemical tool-station for making potions. It gives advantage on checks related to potion manufacturing.

Vada’s Home

The door to Vada’s home was ajar on approach. The place had been tossed.

The party managed to find a trapdoor and smashed through it, however this activated another toxic smoke bomb. Victory went down. As they stumbled out Caely used Ganymede and spotted someone tailing them around the corner in a dark outfit.

Ganymede entered the space below the house, where a large warehouse appeared to have been constructed, although it was now completely bare. Once Ganymede confirmed it was safe, the party followed in and broke into Vada’s office.

They found another letter with a red hand mark that read:

“You’re compromised. We need to meet. Eastern path. Midnight”

Back at the Boat

When the party returned to the boat, the tells had been tripped. A note had been left:

“Let’s catch-up. The Black Seed. Kind regards, J”
