The party had just received the following message:

“Let’s catch-up. The Black Seed. Kind regards, J”

The message seemed suspicious but the ‘J’ might refer to Jarvis, so the party decided to take a short rest and go to the meeting. Victory left the ship with Caely, following behind invisible. Biri stayed on the ship to keep it safe.

The Black Seed

Victory arrived at The Black Seed and sat down after ordering a milk. When no one introduced themselves, they spoke to the barman. As soon as Victory mentioned ‘J’, the barman’s entire demeanour changed and they revealed a trapdoor leading into the basement. Victory and Caely descended the ladder, Caely having swiped the milk.

Downstairs revealed the hideout for the Red Hand in Poplin. Victory was taken into an office to meet Joanna Marquet. Joanna is the head of operations for the Red Hand in Poplin. She tells Victory that she’s been following their investigation and has some useful information. The Red Hand has not been involved in these killings. In fact, the killings have been interfering with their operations. She offered Victory a reward for bringing in the person or people responsible. Either alive, or with their head in a bag.

As Victory left, Caely left the milk behind a plant in Joanna’s office.
