Biri’s Vision

Whilst recovering from her wounds Biri received a vision:

It’s night. You have been deceived, and you’re on horseback racing towards The Temple of Bahamut with your fellow paladins and clerics. In the distance you see the telltale orange glow of firelight as a burning village comes into view. The dead fill the streets. As you ride through, a house collapses and you hear a scream from inside quickly cut short. Pushing through the wreckage, you come across a small human boy trapped in the rubble. You place your blue scaled hands on their form and they glow bright with a silvery light. The boy breathes once more. Looking up from the child, and into the distance, you see the same telltale orange glow lighting up the mountains in the distance.

Biri awoke in the Shrine to Pelor, having learned the Revivify spell.

Nigel is not Happy

Caely and Victory woken up in an apple orchard, having separated themselves from the group. As they walked towards town, they noticed that while the guards were out in force, they didn’t seem to be searching for them. Once they arrived in town however, they were spotted by a guard who told them that Nigel was demanding their presence. Caely and Victory found Biri, and headed towards the mansion.

Meeting Nigel out of sight in a shed, the party failed to convince them that the Governor was safe, however when they threatened the Governor’s life, Nigel gave them 24 hours to bring him back to the Mansion, otherwise he would be forced to get their location from the party some other way. Biri requested some diamonds, and Nigel deducted 500 gold from their pay in return for an assortment of diamonds totalling 300 gold. Biri also found a description of the gem that turned the Governor into a monster.

Tracking the Trackers

The party left the mansion and headed to the hunters camp to try and bring them to justice. However, when they arrived the camp was empty.

The party decided to head to the woodland mansion. They checked on the Governor and found that they had been left undisturbed. However, as the party started to regroup in the main lobby of the building, they overheard the voices of the two hunters outside.
