The party hid and waited for the hunters to enter. However, the finely tuned senses of Artemis and Jordan detected that something was wrong. Victory managed to get the drop on Artemis and he was creeping up the stairs, but the fight soon became an all out battle. Jordan used the power of the Planar Gem of The Beastlands to transform herself into a giant werebear. However the party prevailed, killing Artemis first before managing to take down Jordan, returning her to her elven form.

Wrapping up

The party received 200 platinum pieces from Nigel for their efforts, and Victory also collected a tidy 250 gold from Joanna Marquet in return for the location of the bodies of Artemis and Jordan.

Before leaving Victory tried to see if Joanna had any information on Jarvis. She said that she had no idea where he was, in a way that very much suggested that she did. However, she did offer to ‘look for’ Jarvis, in return for tracking down the previous head of the Poplin branch of the Red Hand, Salvatore Bruno, and bringing him to her. Alive.
