Getting Lost

During the first three days of travel:

• Caely learned from the Tofiz’s binder how to navigate in the black (59/100) (2d10 per day with the binder)
• Biri practiced sailing skills (58/100) (1d10 per day)
• Victory brewed a regular healing potion (21 Arcanum check, DC 15). Brewing takes 3 days for a lesser and 5 for a greater healing potion. Victory has proficiency in these checks. Ingredients are consumed on a failed check.

For the remainder of the trip:

• Caely learned all that she could from the binder (80/100). To complete her training she took The Circumstances into the black. Unfortunately, she got lost in the black and spent a full day travelling in the wrong direction. A second check set her in the right direction, but still slightly off course. Biri cast guiding hand to assist, and they sailed in the correct direction. After an extra three days of travel, Caely hit 100/100 and is now proficient in deep black navigation (Wis).
• Biri practiced sailing skills (83/100) (1d10 per day). While travelling through the black she hit 100/100 and is now proficient in Ships (Dex/Int).
• Victory brewed a regular healing potion and trained her head butting skill (97/100). She gave the regular healing potion to Claudia.
• Claudia and Biri also trained with Ashok to try and bring his skills back up to speed.

Stitchers Respite

Late in the evening on April 2nd, the party finally arrived at The Lower Wyroads.

Caely visited “The Stitchers Respite“ to try and gather information about Tambour. She met Troy, a fly-boy stitcher who worked as an assistant helmsman pilot on one of the big Stitcher ships. Caely persuaded him to take her to their navigation office, and used Suggestion to get him out of the room, allowing her to steal a navigation orb.

Biri chatted to the proprietor of the bathhouse, Therla, who was working on the Lower Wyroads when the exodus from Tambour occurred. She told Biri that there is a man named Bram, who now works at the refueling depot, after being evacuated from Tambour as a child.

Speaking to Bram, Biri learned that:

• He was 7 when he left Tambour
• The four or five people that established the Temple of Bahamut died before he was born
• A red dragonborn arrived before the creature that caused the evacuation did. He visited the temple and then left.
• The temple was boarded up after being vandalised by him and other kids

Tambour Bound

The journey to Tambour has 500 miles of deep black navigation, along with intermittent chalking on the rest of the route. The party spent an extra day lost in the black, before Biri used her spells to help navigate.

• Biri started learning Deep Black Navigation and hit (80/100) (2d10 per day).
• Victory hit 100/100 on Headbutting. (+ Str + Prof to Hit, 1d4 damage)
• Victory prepared a Greater Healing Potion
• Caely prepped three magic stones, and trained with Ashok and Claudia
