Harbour

The party tried to talk to the harbour master of the ships. They said that there had been no departures made at berth 8, where the blood trail had ended. The only departure was berth 17, where ‘Poplin Trader #241’ had departed with a grain shipment.

Unconvinced, the party spoke to a scrawny hot-pants wearing old man on a ship at Berth 9. He said that he saw three burly gentlemen drag Jarvis aboard and depart.

Meeting the Hunters

Keen not to waste any time, the party Spoke to Artemis and Jordan that night while they were on watch at the hunter’s camp. Jordan said that he had seen the beast moving south across the fields away from the Bevis’ house. They described the creature as a beast, at least 12ft tall.

Scenes of the Crime

The next day the party visited the northern fields where Tealeaf has died. He was killed in the middle of a wheat field. Investigating, it seems like the beast had come in from the north, and then left in the same direction.

The party then headed to the Bevis’ farmstead, almost directly north of the Governor’s Mansion.

They found a trap under a trapdoor in the destroyed kitchen of the farmstead. After setting it off a toxic green cloud filled the kitchen. Once it dissipated, the party descended through the trapdoor into the catacombs below poplin.

The Moondust Lab

The party came across two human men packing bags into crates in a large cavern which breaks out into the black beneath Poplin. There was a dock there but no ship present at the time. Caely turned invisible and had a look around noticing a farm in the back, and bags of Moondust (one of which she stole). The were are almost caught leaving but they manage to escape unharmed, and undetected.
